Client Relationship Policy
How and when a working relationship is formed, the difference between clients and customers, and the limits of our duties.
Effective date: June 4, 2026
1. When a Relationship Is Formed
Fattal Realty Team is a real estate team led by Baraa Fattal, REALTOR®, operating under Right at Home Realty, Brokerage - Burlington (the “Brokerage”) in the Province of Ontario, Canada. References to “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Team” mean Fattal Realty Team. References to “you” or “your” mean any visitor to or user of this website.
Under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA) and its regulations, a representation or client relationship with the Brokerage is created only when a written agreement is signed. Browsing this website, attending a showing, requesting information, submitting a form, or having preliminary conversations with us does not, by itself, create a client, agency, fiduciary, or representation relationship.
2. Clients and Self-Represented Parties
We may work with clients (under a written representation agreement) and with self-represented parties (who choose not to be represented). The nature and scope of the services and duties we owe depend on the written agreement, if any, and on TRESA. Self-represented parties are responsible for their own interests and acknowledge that we do not provide representation, advice, or opinion of value to them.
3. Information and Confidentiality
Information you share with us before a written agreement is signed may not be treated as confidential. We will protect client confidential information as required by TRESA and applicable law once a representation relationship exists.
4. Multiple Representation and Conflicts
Where permitted by law and with required written consent, the Brokerage may represent more than one party in a transaction or act in situations involving multiple clients. We will provide the disclosures required by TRESA in such circumstances. We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any engagement consistent with our legal and professional obligations.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome
We do not guarantee any particular result, sale price, purchase price, timeline, financing, or other outcome. Real estate decisions involve risk, and you are responsible for your own decisions and due diligence.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our duties are limited to those expressly set out in a signed written agreement and as required by TRESA, and we disclaim all other duties, warranties, and liabilities. Any liability is subject to the limitations set out in our Terms of Service and the applicable written agreement.
